My husband and I purchased these shoes to hike the rocky, muddy, waterfalls and terrain of El Yunque National Forrest. These shoes protected our feet when it came to crossing rushing rivers, hiking up muddy roots and rocks, and protected when sliding down waterfalls. They are super durable and cozy. I did not feel the rocks underneath my feet when stepping on uneven terrain.

I brought these with me on a recent cruise. My sneakers ended up being destroyed after the first day, so I had to use these on all of my excursions. They held up very well! They are definitely not as supportive as sneakers. After wearing them as my primary walking shoe during the day, they were dry by the morning, and they are still intact.

I have owned body glove water shoes in the past and the last pair fell apart rather quickly so I was hesitate to buy these. But, I am really surprised. They are really solid.
